THE BEST FOODS TO BRING GLAMPING

Hi friends!

I have recently enjoyed a few glamping trips, and I wanted to share some tasty and easy food ideas that you can enjoy on your future adventures!

At my recent glamping locations (Glen Oro and ReTreet) they both had a hot stove available for us to use.
If you are planning to recreate our lunch and dinner meals, you will want to ensure there is a hot stove you have access to.

Enjoy and Happy Glamping!

Courtney

BREAKFAST:

Yogurt Parfaits:

  • Vanilla greek yogurt: Packaged into a container that I can easily use as a bowl

  • Fresh strawberries: Already washed and ready to eat

  • Granola - Cinnamon Kashi is my favourite kind

Oatmeal:

  • Dry oatmeal

  • 1 scoop of protein powder

  • Chocolate chips

Lunch:

Pre-made Vegan/Regular Chilli:

  • Black Beans

  • Onions

  • Peppers

  • Tofu

  • Peppers

  • Garlic

  • Jalapeños

  • Sea salt + pepper

    COOKING TIPS:

  • Pre-make it at home and bring it up in a glass Tupperware. To warm it up transfer the chilli into a foil tray to heat up on the wood oven stove.

  • Bring tin foil to put on the tray to heat up faster

Dinner:

Pre-made Homemade Shepards Pie:

  • Potatoes

  • Vegetables

  • Vegan Sausage

    COOKING TIPS:

  • Pre-make it at home and bring it up in a glass Tupperware. To warm it up transfer the Shepards pie into a foil tray and heat up on the wood oven stove.

  • Bring tin foil to put on the tray to heat up faster

Snacks:

  • S’mores - You’ll need: Graham crackers, chocolate, and a bag of marshmallows

  • Skinny Pop Popcorn

  • Chips

  • Fruits

  • Vegetables

  • Cookies

  • Granola bars

DRINKS:

  • Water. If there’s no running water where you are going you will want to make sure you stock up.

  • Soda Water

  • Wine (don’t forget a corkscrew!)

  • Kombucha

  • Tea. Where we went, tea was easy to make since there was a kettle provided + hot stove

  • Coffee
    - Ground coffee
    - French Press
    - Milk/ cream
    - Sugar/ stevia/ etc

We had a seamless experience making coffee because we brought along our French Press.
To use a French Press, you only need ground coffee and hot water.

Thank you to my friend Samantha who created these incredible lunch and dinner options from our latest trip to ReTreet. If you’re looking for an unforgettable adventure of staying in a TREEHOUSE you will want to visit this article: Your Getaway Guide to Staying in a Treehouse.
